The shop has lots of wine, beer and penny candy. Lots of bikers.
My kids love the dill pickle soup! Great beer selection, too.
Enjoyed some coffee and browsing the items in the store. I was happy chilling here for a bit.
Lovely little Northern Michigan Cafe, don't let the name fool you, get your regular coffee or your favorite morning beverage, smoothies or even ice cream along with breakfast. The menu is on a traditional chalk board.
Bonus there is a gift + wine store here too with a very nice selection.
We had breakfast on a day they were slammed due to power outage in the area. This was one of the few places with power so it was busy. Mixed reviews on food: lovely hot tea. Kids wouldn't eat the waffles, said they like the ones at home better. Egg sandwich just ok.
What a wonderful discovery, just a stones throw from Frankfort. I stopped in while on a scenic bike rife and had some of the best iced coffee I've ever tasted. Service was excellent and very friendly too.
